The 4 ICMJE Authorship Criteria
According to the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), every author must meet all 4 conditions:
- Substantial contributions to the conception, design, acquisition, or analysis of data.
- Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content.
- Final approval of the version to be published.
- Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work.
